A New Website for Fair Mile Books

With the official release of "Golden", it was time to redesign the Fair Mile Books website, incorporating the design elements from the cover art for "Golden". We hope you like it!

As part of the new site, the "How to Order" page has been redone so you can purchase both "Brushstrokes" and "Golden".

Book Release Party for "Golden"

At Vox Pop on Cortelyou Road in Brooklyn, it was standing room only as people of all ages gathered for the official release of "Golden" by Siobhán Barry-Bratcher.

The audience was treated to a reading by the author, live music by the NYC-based Bluegrass/Americana band, Blue Harvest, and 1960s-style party favors such as beaded necklaces, bracelets, Indian headbands, patches, buttons, flowers, and candy necklaces.

Everyone cheered when three-year-old Angela won the drawing for the Jimi Hendrix "Are You Experienced?" T-shirt, and laughed when the author got up to clog dance to the tunes of Blue Harvest.

Thanks to everyone who came out to help us celebrate the release of "Golden."
